I had a my credit card stolen I had to cancel the card that meant all pending charges they were comfortable leaving my account open they told me I can resume payment when I receive my new card I tried

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! This company is a complete fraud! I'm reporting them to every consumer website that exists because no one should buy from them anything. They're liars and a huge time wasters. I ordered a dining room table from them that was supposed to be a replica of a Tulip table with a black marble top. It took three months for it to arrive in their warehouse. They charged me $100 for a "white glove" delivery inside our apartment and assembly. When I arrived at home, I saw an ugly piece of junk. The top was not marble - it was some kind of a ceramic finish with fake marble lines and had scratches all over it. The base was completely wrong proportions. I'm still trying to return this table which is sitting in the middle of our dining room and taking up a huge amount of space. I sent them dozens of emails. They forwarded a FedEd label to me and said that I should stick it directly on the base without putting it in the box (because I told them that I don't have one since the shipping company took it away with them) and dispose of the top and that they will reimburse me when they receive the base! This is the most insane suggestion I've ever received for a return. To make things worse, they're now arguing with me that I didn't pay $100 for their "white glove delivery" when I have it in writing that they insisted that I need to pay it and that it's their "discounted price" for the delivery. There is something seriously wrong with this company and the people who are running it and their customer service. I'm reporting all of this to my AMEX and will forward all of the evidence for a full refund.

Most wort company ever

I ordered chairs over the company. Now I'm waiting since one year for my furniture.

I told the company that I have moved to a new location. They sent it maybe to the old location. Anyway, that company is incompetent and treat the customer horrible. I asked to speak an leader or CEO.

I never got an reply or any other information. I'll never ever buy over this company. All I can say don't buy anything on this company page. They never deliver and tell you stories about is shiped and then you askes what does ship means.

The answer is shipped from China to USA....

that is hoax. Wtf

This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with 3 months after ordering from them I still have not received my order ,very quick to pocket the money though,I requested a refund and was told it would be a couple of days two weeks ago and still no refund. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT BUT THEY WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY AND LEGAL ACTION MAY BE THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL EVER SEE IT ,GO ON SOM PROVE ME WRONG. This is from a real customer a pissed of costumer as my bank also charged me for conversion to dollars

Worst company ever! Ugh!!!!

Been trying to get money credited back to my visa card no luck at all,returned it to them brand new,neverused! They want a video of product and 3 pictures of it,thats crazy!! No visa credit !Nothing!the worst company I have ever dealt with hope no one ever buys from them,very disgusted still have receipt as proof of return,will get money back somehow am not !etting this go!!!!

InstyleModern shipped the wrong color table top to my client in March of 2017. We were told that they would not have the white tops in stock until June of 2017. We called and emailed them in June of 2017. We were then told that they would not have the top in until October 2017. We called and emailed several times before we got the response that they would not have the tops in until January of 2018. I called Jacob Kellner directly. He is listed as the owner of the company on LinkedIn, and never heard a word back. Absolute scam. The shipment arrived w/out the proper directions and the parts needed to assemble the chair were literally stuck in the base and could not be extracted. They never returned any emails (don't bother calling as they will direct you to email them and the phone will then hang up on you.). I tried submitting the claim on their site, and when they ask you to put in a code for submission, an error button won't allow you to submit your complaint. Any review of this site that is positive is a lie. Just try calling them first before buying anything from this site and see what your experience is.

I bought a set of chairs from this place and received them a short time later. The packaging was a joke, the box much too small and barely held together. The chairs are not as advertised-- cheap knockoffs that are different from picture-- and cannot be assembled because the base is too small to attach to the seat of the chair, the fittings do not align at all. I have contacted customer service, but do not have high hopes given previous reviews. NOTE: You can dispute charges like these with your credit card company if you have legitimately requested a refund and the merchant does not respond.

Defective item and complete lack of customer service

I received a ball chair a month later than expected and it did not fit correctly in the base so you couldn't even sit in it without it wobbling to one side. I was worried that it would fall off the base so I contacted customer service who wanted me to pay to ship back their defective item. I did not feel that this was my responsibility. You CAN NOT reach them by phone. Their responses to email are often written by someone that does not speak english. DO NOT buy anything from this company, their products are cheap for a reason and if you have a problem you will NEVER get your money back.

I ordered a Eero Saarinen Style Tulip Dining Set - table & four chairs. It was advertised as having suede seat cushions. The set arrived in good condition and is very attractive, but the seat cushions are burlap and are freeing. I've spoken to and writen Instylemodern many times and sent photos of the cushions. They certainly make the set look cheap. They have never responded to my complaint nor have given me any type of compension. BEWARE in dealing with them. You may or may not get what you ordered. And, you certainly won't get any assistance or response from them.

DO NOT buy from this site. the prices are kind of good but look elsewhere - the proportions of this tulip style table is not correct at all. the table they sent me was back ordered for weeks and when it finally came it was cracked and scratched. they said theyd replaced the base but not the top. i have been asking if they need the base back but no response. they are very unresponsive when you need something. every time i look at the table i get pissed. i hate when companies let you order something and then after you order it they tell you aftrwards that it is backrdered.

Can't be sure what happened with the dissatisfied customers, I placed an order and the item was actually not in stock however the company did offer a back order service. I waited about ordered and days and they contacted me that the order arrived. In style Modern shipped out the order immediately and I received it days later. The item was received in perfect condition and looks just like it does in the image on site. I definitely recommend this store for coming through with great service. I highly recommend purchasing at In Stlye Modern, and I would definitely purchase in their store again. Great store, great service.

Glass table top wrong size, thickness & chipped

The glass table top we received for the LIBO dining table was not 42" as advertised, was not 1/2" thick as we were told over the phone and had a chip in it when we received it.It has been a total runaround with these people. One of their emails asked me to fax the chip to them!I had already sent pictures. They stopped replying to my emails.After holding for an eternity I actually talked with a person. I faxed previous emails & a receipt for a new glass top I ordered from another company since In Style said all their glass tops were like what they sent me and she replied she would talk with her manager and get back to me shortly.That was 5 days ago. Messages left for them are never answered and when I went into their complaint line it could not be sent. I would never order anything from these people again.I wish I had read the reviews about them before I ordered.

I ordered bar stools and the order was accepted, then I made a mistake of reading all the horrible reviews and I decided to email the company asking if the item I ordered was actually in stock. They responded soon and said it was coming in 2 weeks. Which it did and then they shipped it. They were fast to reply to my emails about estimated stock replenishment dates. I received my stools. they are beautiful and of decent quality for a knock off. So over all my experience was pretty good. I would rate them 4/5 because of the wait but that was the only issue.

No one will return your calls or emails

As sone as you have paid and placed an order, you Will not get any more service out of this Company. Still haven't got my order shiped yet, running on 2 months now. But worst of all is that no one returns my calls or emails. The 5 star rating on Their HomePage...hmmmmm dont Think so. I am not pleased with Company and it seams like other pleople on this side agree with me. On tracking my order it looks like it has been shiped, but fedex telts me that it had not yet been tendered to fedex for delivery !!
